A UK workshop refurbishing classic consoles and vintage computers. The store stocks the boards, power modules and parts we use ourselves on the bench — if it’s good enough to go into a refurb here, it’s good enough to sell.
Most of what’s currently listed is open-source hardware, credited to the original designers on each product page. The range is deliberately small to keep the quality bar high.
In-house designs are in the works. Original boards and modules are on the bench — first releases will appear in the store when they’re ready.

Components from Mouser, Farnell or LCSC. PCB finish chosen to suit the board.
Every board visually inspected. Sample units fitted into refurbs here before a batch goes live.
Sent tracked from the UK. Listed here and on eBay with live stock levels.
If a board or module arrives faulty, we’ll sort it — replacement or refund. Nothing ships that we wouldn’t fit into a refurb on our own bench.
For open-source hardware, the original designer is credited on the product page with a link to the upstream project.

Parts and modules only. Every product page lists what’s in the box and what you need to supply yourself.
Starting with 8- and 16-bit consoles, expanding into vintage home computers as stock comes in. If there’s a system you want covered, get in touch — demand shapes what gets made next.
For region-specific hardware, yes. Boards are sold with the correct crystal fitted. The product page spells out the region — pick the one that matches your machine.
Where it makes sense, yes. RGB mods, HDMI-out, flash storage and similar are called out on the relevant product pages, along with any solder pads or headers added to make them easier.
No. Maybe in future.
The retro community has excellent docs already — start with the upstream project pages linked from each product, and YouTube tutorials for your platform.
Stock & Availability
Stock levels on each product card and page are pulled live from our eBay listing. If it says In Stock there, it’s in stock here. Out of Stock means exactly that.
Most out-of-stock items are restocked in batches. Drop us a line with the product name and we’ll let you know the next expected run.
Not currently. We’d rather list stock when it’s on the shelf than take money against an ETA that might slip.
Sometimes. If it’s a part for a system we already work with, ask. If it’s a one-off or bespoke build, probably not.
Yes, via eBay Global Shipping. For bulk or unusual requests, get in touch before ordering.
DIY parts, not plug-and-play. Soldering and ESD-safe handling are assumed. New to this? Start with a power or AV module — they’re the most forgiving.
